I'm a lifestyle journalist who used to write primarily about food, wine, and travel for magazines. But now mommyhood is a hot topic around my household and media outlets. I'm forever trying to find a balance between being a great mommy, getting the most out of my time with my girl and hubby, and finding time to still be completely self-indulgent on occasion. It ain't easy, but it's definitely doable--unless the baby has a cold and keeps me up all night. Then all bets are off!
